We are a team of passionate teachers, who love connecting with people all over the world. Our greatest joy is seeing our students develop their skills and achieve their goals

Our Story

Our journey in teaching began 25 years ago when Owen and Michelle began teaching in a weekly volunteer school. This school assisted people of all ages to confidently express themselves in front of an audience, using correct grammar, reading accurately, and preparing material that would be of interest to those who were listening. In addition to this, they ran a few other businesses. But in 2020, South Africa went into one of the hardest Covid 19 lockdowns in the world. Owen and Michelle's businesses had to stop operating during this time, and so the idea of Online Teaching was born. Along with there two children Cayley and Joel, they have been teaching Online for the last 2 years. The skills all of them had transitioned effortlessly into Online teaching. This team of 4 teachers (and more joining soon) will look after your learning requirements, whether the student is 4 years old, or 100 years old. Meet the team below.

Meet The Team

Owen Lottering

Big Chief and Pro teacher -

Owen has been teaching for 25 years. His teaching skills range from teaching fun classes to 5 - 12 year olds, all the way to teaching classes in Business Presentations, Customer Relationships, Public Speaking, Preparing for Job Interviews and Conversational English. Owen has decades of experience in running his own Businesses. He also loves surfing, kitesurfing, playing golf and walking his dog Indie.

Michelle Lottering

The Real Big Chief and Pro Teacher -

Michelle has been teaching for 20 years. She has taught young children in groups and individually. For the last 2 years she has been teaching children online, aged 4-13. Her students love her and regularly send her Thank you cards and little videos. Michelle has also taught adults in Conversational English and assisted in Community Upliftment Programs teaching people to read and write. She loves tennis, squash, hiking, art and baking.

Joel Lottering

Pro Kids Teacher - Kids Dig Him -

Joel has been teaching for 3 years. The last year has been online, teaching children aged 4-13. He loves surfing, playing golf, kite surfing, Ultimate Frisbee and basketball. He has a very easy going manner which his students love and he praises them regularly for their efforts in class.

Cayley Lottering

Pro Kids Teacher and Young Adults - She plays Ukelele for her students -

Cayley has been teaching for 4 years, the last two years online. Her classes are fun and full of energy. Cayley loves surfing, kite surfing and reading. She has travelled extensively in Europe and the UK, having visited, England, Scotland, Ireland, Germany, Italy and France. Her experiences help her to make her lessons even more interesting.

Brigitta Narbonese

Pro Fun Teacher - Kids like her so much they book her everyday - Brigitta has been teaching for 3 years, the last year being online. Brigitta has a very welcoming teaching manner and kids immediately feel comfortable with her. She has developed a loyal student following, some of them booking her everyday. Brigitta loves surfing, travel and experimenting with Social Media marketing.
